An everyday protective street riding shoe with a unique heritage racing style, the lightweight Stated Flair Shoe is Alpinestars modern take on retro streetwear styling casual skatewear in a package optimised for immediate comfort for commuting and leisure riders, on and off the bike.
Key Features
- Enhanced comfort: Advanced urban sole for immediate comfort as soon as the shoes are worn; ideal for everyday use, on and off the bike.
- Heritage aesthetic: Worn effect applied by hand for an authentic ‘racing heritage’ patina.
- Slim, high top design: Compact profile, nine-hole high top with a classic lateral lace system and lateral zip closure for a secure closure and ease of use.
- Strategic protection: Ankle disk on both medial and external side, TPF transversal protection, and reinforced shifting area.
Construction
- Leather upper for superior abrasion resistance, light weight and a premium ‘street’ aesthetic.
- Leather Nubuck ankle and heel section for flexibility and durability in a key area.
- Lightweight, oil-resistant vulcanised rubber compound urban sole with textured grip provides optimised grip and contact on the bike’s footpegs.
- Features a lightweight PU midsole with an integrated heel disc that provides excellent all-day underfoot cushioning and shock absorption.
- Removable OrthoLite® insock provides long-lasting comfort and prevents overheating thanks to the Open Cell PU compound.
- Dual layer, PP insole for the optimum blend of flexibility, durability and walking comfort.
- Lace tip is finished in colour contrasting rubber for enhanced grip with the fingers.
Protection
- Double density TPU ankle protectors are applied between the upper and the padded lining for the optimum blend of protective performance and flexibility.
- Ankles discs are included on the medial and external side for effective but discreet all-around ankle protection.
- Alpinestars Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) protects the foot while delivering the necessary support on the footrest without compromising the front foot flexion for superior walking comfort.
- TPR toe reinforcements for enhanced structural stability and abrasion resistance.
- Internal toe box and heel counter reinforcement is layered under the upper for more ergonomic design and protection.
