Press release by The Fabulous Biker Boys PR
“Bristol’s biggest and longest-established motorcycle dealer is returning to its roots, opening a new cycling store within its 40,000 square foot showroom close to Temple Meads.
Originally established in 1926 as a cycle and pram shop by husband and wife team Frank and Alice Fowler, Fowlers has evolved into one of the UK’s largest motorcycle dealers, selling new bikes from Triumph, Aprilia, Honda, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Suzuki and Yamaha as well as a range of scooters, including Vespas.
In 2008 Greater Bristol was chosen as England’s first Cycling City and cycling to work has doubled over the past 10 years so that today one in twenty Bristol commuters use a bike.
As a result of demand from existing customers, many of who are keen mountain bikers and road cyclists as well as riding motorbikes, Fowlers has decided to open a new store-within-a-store and will be stocking a large selection of new cycles from GT, Mongoose and Charge. Catering for commuters, racers and mountain bike riders, Fowlers cycle store has its own dedicated sales and service team, with a qualified technician providing maintenance, repairs and accessory fitting in a specific on-site workshop.
Located in central Bristol on the A4 Bath Road close to Temple Meads mainline railway station and with ample free parking, Fowlers’ new cycle store opens on Saturday 27th July.”
