Andy Frost reports on his latest trials competition on the Fowlers GAS GAS EC300 TBI.
This past Sunday saw me take on the challenging 3rd round of the North Somerset Championship at Chelwood, between Bristol and Bath. Let me tell you, the venue was extremely wet! ️
The first half hour was a close battle with Bath rider Charli Frost. Despite the age difference, I was holding my own against this young talent. However, my luck took a turn on a steep hill climb. A stuck rider caused a bottleneck, and I got baulked, allowing Charli to take the lead on another line.
While Charli ultimately claimed the win, I maintained a comfortable gap and finished a strong second place. More importantly, I extended my lead over my main championship rival, Nathan Newman.
Despite the challenging conditions, my trusty GAS GAS EC 300 performed flawlessly, soaking up the wet and rocky terrain with ease. It’s only my second ride on the new model, but I already feel completely at home on it.
Here’s to hoping for some drier events soon! My boots have been wet for about five months straight! Bring on the sunshine!
