I'd seen it advertised in bike magazines priced at only £149 and thought it looked reasonably good value and stylish, I went in to Fowlers and tried it on and found it very comfortable and bought it 3 weeks ago, on the bike its very warm and even though it has a single zip and narrow storm flap it only let in a small amount of cold air through it with the liner in. When the heatwave came on mayday bank holiday I went to the bmad bike festival at Paignton from Bristol I removed the warm liner and stashed it under the seat, the jacket kept me reasonably cool on the bike even though it doesn't have any vents but with the cuff zips done half way and main zip 3 inches from the top it kept me cool, the armour in the jacket feels solid and reassuring and also it feels light on the bike, looks good when off the bike as I don't look like a power ranger in full leathers in the shops and pubs. only grip is the cuffs don't have room when tucked in, but then again no velcro to attach myself to woolly hats and scarfs when leaving the house.
My wife bought me one for my birthday in May. I wear it on a daily bases and love it. My main criticism is that there isn't any vents. Riding in 30-degree heat it just doesn't let enough air through. The other issue is not being able to clean it. With the marks from insects etc i would love to be able to wash it
