Television personality and motorcycle adventurer Charley Boorman will be lending a hand to launch Triumph’s all-new Street Twin motorcycle at Fowlers showrooms in Bristol on Thursday 11th February. The evening event will see Charley, an avid Triumph fan best known for his global motorbike treks, review the 900cc Street Twin via video link.
Having already generated rave reviews from the motorcycling media, Triumph’s Street Twin is one of four new models within the newly launched Bonneville range. Taking over four years to develop, the new bikes use the very latest technology, while remaining true to the model’s iconic heritage, dating back to 1959. The national dealer launch will simultaneously take place at selected dealers across the UK, giving bike fans the chance to see the new models up close, while also enabling them to be first in the queue for test rides.
Triumph brand manager Phil Howell, said: “The Street Twin is the first of our new Bonneville range to hit our showroom. The Triumph design team has created a modern icon, with retro looks and the performance of a modern bike. We’re delighted with the global media response, and I’m confident riders will love the new bikes too. In the next few months, we’ll be organising Fowlers launch nights for the new Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R.”
Taking place at Fowlers showrooms on Bath Road, Bristol, the event will also allow Triumph fans to update themselves on the rest of the expanding range of bikes, take part in raffles to win a range of prizes, and benefit from a special night of parts, accessories, and clothing deals.
Triumph’s Street Twin retails at just £7,300 OTR. It is powered by a soulful 900c parallel twin engine, and comes with a huge optional array of clothing and accessories. For the first time in its history Triumph is providing ‘inspiration packs’ for each new bike in the Bonneville range, which enable riders to customise their Bonneville to reflect their own personality. For the Street Twin, special kits are available to transform the standard model into Scrambler, Brat Tracker or Urban versions, for an additional charge. A complete new Bonneville range of clothing will also be on show at the dealer launch event, for riders eager to get the total Triumph look for 2016.
Owning a new Triumph Speed Twin has never been easier, thanks to its new TriStar PCP deal, which makes ownership much more affordable. With a deposit of just £1,685 (and a final payment of £3,961) a new Street Twin works out at just 36 monthly payments of £85 (representative APR of 9.9%).
The Street Twin dealer open evening kicks-off at 6.00pm on Thursday 11th February.
Tickets are not required for entry, but visitors are advised to contact Fowlers in advance.
